Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
In 2017, after spending years in high-profile roles, I was in a leadership position in a large organisation. But I was unwell, physically, and mentally. I had faced health challenges before; I had faced professional and personal issues too. At that point, although I had invested decades in my career, I felt unfulfilled.
I believe this illness was my body telling me I was not leading the life I was meant to lead. I knew it was time to create my shift.
I set up my own organisation, and it went from strength to strength. But as the business grew, I wasn’t making my health a priority. I realised I needed to make massive changes in my life. I overhauled my diet; I started to exercise every day; and I rewired the way I thought about, dealt with, and managed work and life challenges.
Creating my shift was not a single event.
In fact, it is a continuous process that is now part of who “I” am.
Leadership most definitely begins with you. Who we are being as a leader is an ultimate tool for shifting culture and performance. Andrew shows that this critical first step is a process of integrating who you are, what you believe with who we are and where we all want to go. Looking forward to the second and third books.
Matt Church, Founder, Thought Leaders
